About the Office

The law firm of Michael Pappe and Associates was established in 1984 and is located on Hanassi Ave. in Haifa in a building inspired by the Bauhaus movement.

Michael Pappe Law firm is an International law firm located in Haifa, with cooperation with a Tel - Aviv law firm.
The special character of our firm is that the firm combines, for the last 21 years, Israeli law firm with a German Consulate in Haifa.
The Office exists for 25 years, and it is an Israeli - German office.
The firm is therefore an Israeli - German office. The German language is spoken at the highest level at any given time among 4-5 workers.
The firm is in the focus of legal and business activities of companies and individuals of the German-speaking world and integrates a wide-range of consular activities: Visits of delegations from overseas and commercial, cultural activities from Germany, and extensive consular activities and services.

The firm offers an extensive array of legal services, mainly in the field of civil law, specializing in contract law, commercial law and international law.

In 1988, Mr. Pappe was appointed Honorary Consul General General of Germany for the Haifa region.

Since Mr. Pappe was granted this title, the law firm has effectively functioned as the German Consulate in Haifa, offering significant services to Israelis and Jewish parties that possess special interests in Germany and to Germans that have various interests in Israel.

The firm is deeply involved in business activities of Israelis in Europe in general and particularly in the German-speaking countries of Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In addition, the firm represents European companies and individuals who have interests in Israel as well as large companies operating in the hi-tech industry as well as large companies and law firms from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Our office works in full cooperation with the law firm Lahav, Litbak - Abadi & Co., Law Offices , located on the 21^st floor of the Sonol Tower in Tel Aviv.

Mr. Pappe supplies notary services in Hebrew, English and German including authorization of documents, land contracts, corporate policies, personal wills and more.

These services are provided along with the consular services.

Michael Pappe, Adv.

Mr. Pappe was born in the beautiful port city of Haifa in 1951.

He is married and the father of three children.

He is a graduate of the Hebrew Reali High School in Haifa and conducts business fluently in Hebrew, English and German.

He received his B.A. in Economics and International Relations as well as his LL.B. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Adv. Michael Pappe holds several public positions in the community, such as:

• Board member of the AICC (Austrian Israeli Chamber of Commerce). 
                                                                          

• Board member of the Haifa Art Foundation , and Chairman of the Control Committee.

• Member of the Board of Governors of the Ben-Gurion University in the Negev.

• Member of the Board of Executives of the Bucerius Institute, Haifa University.

• Chairman of SOS - Violence, Israel.
